Ryan is responsible for commercial due diligence, midstream company evaluation, and asset operation analysis at East Daley Analytics. As an early employee at East Daley and with a family history in the oil and gas industry, Ryan has been instrumental in formulating the methodology around East Daley’s oil & gas well allocation model to understand the connections from wellhead through the midstream value chain. He also developed many of the company’s supply forecast models for various asset classes, including gathering & processing systems, transmission pipelines, fractionators and export facilities. Prior to East Daley, Mr. Smith developed a keen interest for oil & gas supply forecasting as a Senior Energy Analyst at Bentek Energy (now S&P Global/Platts). Ryan participates in a family-owned oil & gas production company in Colorado and Nebraska, which specializes in marginal well optimization and acquisitions. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Colorado State University and lives in Elizabeth, CO with his wife and 4 children.
