Justin is the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of East Daley Analytics. With a passion for strategy and deep expertise in oil and gas market supply and demand, Justin co-founded East Daley Analytics to creatively transform data and information into market moving knowledge and wisdom to drive client success.
In his role as CCO, Justin oversees the strategy for developing products and analysis that drive transparency in energy capital and commodity markets. He is the creator of Dirty Little Secrets, an industry game-changing annual report which breaks down companies by asset and provides market insights and due diligence across the entire energy market ecosystem.
Prior to co-founding East Daley Analytics, Justin spent over 15 years in data analysis, energy information, and consulting across the energy sector. He led the natural gas analytics team for Platts Analytics and was a senior member of the leadership team for Bentek Energy, which was acquired by Platts in 2011.
During his time with Platts/Bentek, he helped execute numerous transformational market studies and led the development of hundreds of customized analyses regarding asset acquisitions, strategic planning, development projects and other market events in the oil, gas, and natural gas liquids’ sectors.
Justin has spoken at numerous industry conferences including the Marcellus Utica Midstream Conference, LDC Forums, and DUG, and has been quoted in publications such as Barron’s Midstream Business, Natural Gas Intelligence, and the Wall Street Journal.
He has also authored articles on the energy financial markets for Forbes, Oil and Gas Journal, and Seeking Alpha. Justin has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management from the Colorado School of Mines.
