Responsibilities:

-Create a sales plan to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas

-Manage the entire sales cycle from finding to securing a deal

-Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

-Present products and solutions to prospective clients

-Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’dedication

-Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs

-Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation

Requirements:

-Sales “hunter” mentality – the willingness to work hard to build a pipeline and to close deals

-Proven experience as an account executive or in other sales or business development roles

-Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

-Knowledge of sales and negotiating principles

-Organizational and time-management skills

-Enthusiastic and passionate

-Team player

-Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is desired

-Energy/Finance experience desired, but not required

-BSc or BA in business administration, finance, sales, marketing or related field

Energy Commodity Fundamentals Analyst

 

As a member of our Fundamentals Research Team,  you will be combining fundamental energy market supply and demand data with granular company level financial asset data to deeply  understand commodity market values. You will have the responsibility for analysis, design and implementation of East Daley’s energy commodity models. To be successful you will need the ability to recognize trends and put puzzles together that are relevant to understanding crude, natural gas liquids and natural gas markets better than anyone else in the world.

Responsibilities:

-Analytical with an extreme attention for details

-Creativity to come up with innovative solutions and the fortitude to stand behind them

-Persistent with a natural curiosity about putting market fundamentals together (Econ 101)

-Quick independent learner 

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

-Sell- or buy-side research experience in the Upstream or Midstream Energy sector a plus

-Desire to win and to have fun

-Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline: Engineering, Petroleum, Geology, Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent two years experience in a Financial Analyst discipline; M&A, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Equity Research, Investment Baking, Risk Management or Commodity Trading analysis

-Experience around a trading floor is a plus

Equity Fundamentals Analysis

As a member of our Fundamentals Research team, work on combining fundamental energy market supply and demand data with granular company level financial asset to value a company from the ground up. You will have the responsibility for analysis, design and the implementation of East Daley’s company specific models. To be successful you will need the ability to recognize trends and put puzzles together that are relevant to understanding the value of a publicly traded company and their assets than anyone else in the world.

Responsibilities:

-Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative discipline: Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent two years’ experience in a Financial Analyst discipline: M&A, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Risk Management Midstream, Upstream or Trading Analysis

-Quick independent learner

-Analytical with an extreme attention to detail 

-Experience with statistical analysis software such as SPSS or SAS

-Ability to effectively communicate knowledge to trading individuals 

-Persistent with a natural curiosity about putting market fundamentals together (Econ 101)

-CAIA or CFA

-Experience around a trading floor is a plus
