Senior Account Executive Position Overview:

This is a full-time position, based in Centennial, Colorado and reports to the Head of Sales.

Job Details, Essential Functions, Responsibilities:

  • Generate a pipeline of leads through online prospecting, cold-calling, event lists and referrals
  • Develop an in-depth comprehension of target client profiles and subgroup stakeholders through understanding pain points and data needs, buying decisions and client budget dynamics
  • Drive long, complex sales processes involving multiple layers of stakeholders, users and decision makers
  • Close subscription-based sales to new clients within the assigned vertical(s) to achieve revenue targets
  • Engage with key clients at both the strategic and executional level to deliver results that help them win

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven SAAS based selling capabilities in an agile, scaling and often-changing industry
  • Experience in navigating sales at multiple levels of an organization, including C-level executives, with high dollar negotiation
  • Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, with impeccable professionalism and polish
  • Strong analytical capabilities, ability to negotiate and a competitive drive are a must
  • Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing objectives
  • Superb interpersonal skills, always approachable and professional with the desire to build lasting relationships
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Energy and finance industry experience in small to high-growth companies is preferred

Commodity Analyst Position Overview:

East Daley Capital (EDC) is seeking a driven and creative Commodity Analyst. As a member of the Product and Analytics Team, the Commodity Analyst will be working on combining fundamental energy market supply and demand data with asset level financial data to derive insights and market trends. The Analyst will have the responsibility for analysis and design of energy commodity models.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need the ability to recognize and extrapolate trends and understand dependencies throughout the supply chain. The Commodity Analyst will exhibit a strong understanding of crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas markets and have aptitude toward tying commodity markets to asset level financial performance.

The Commodity Analyst will thrive in a results-oriented, fast paced, and scaling environment. S/he will be an innate problem solver, approaching data and insights with a relentless curiosity to drive deeper than market assumptions to problem solve for client needs. The ideal candidate will be a confident decision-maker who has the ability to exercise and demonstrate sound judgment on the depth of analysis needed.

This is a full-time position, based in Centennial, Colorado and reports to the Senior Vertical Strategist.

 

Goals of Position:

  • Produce commodity and financial models, insights, and research reports for both cross functional team use and external client needs on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
  • Identify and own new and existing publicly available data sets, working with the Data Engineering Team to make into consumable reports and ensure quality assurance of raw data and models
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and thought leader for all client questions regarding products and other points of interest, leveraging internal team knowledge in order to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions
  • Present insights and models to multiple levels of client stakeholders via email, phone, and in person meetings
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching and guidance to junior staff
  • Develop and evolve process and documentation

Vice President of Data Strategy Position Overview:

East Daley Capital is seeking a results-oriented, dynamic (energetic) Vice President of Data Strategy. As a key member of the senior team, the VP will be responsible for designing, architecting and evolving East Daley Capital’s data platform for continued growth and scale. The platform is integral in EDC’s data analysis, problem solving, and product development for client success and market differentiation. This leader will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to develop and drive data strategies, facilitate an intimate understanding of data sources, and ensure unique IP be systematically captured.

The ideal candidate will have a proven leadership history of organizational development and planning expertise necessary to manage an efficient and nimble team comprised of data engineers and analysts through complex product requirements with both short- and long-term deliverables. The VP will be best described as a strategic thinker with sound judgment and business acumen who can understand not all business decisions are black and white nor stay static in an ever-changing ecosystem. In addition to possessing a deep data architectural knowledge and roll-up your sleeves approach, this leader will also have the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences in a relentless and patient manner to influence key senior partners and executives. From in-depth past experience, they will know how to work between the technical and business teams that design and implement analytic-based solutions, leveraging peer-group engagement in order to build relationships with all stakeholders. The leader doesn’t have to design or implement the solution itself but must be able to intercede between these teams to optimize its effectiveness. Goals of Position:

  • Own the data infrastructure and foundation for the organization
  • Partner with senior team members within functional business units to understand business objectives, data needs, and strategic direction
  • Define and execute the company wide data strategy, ensuring data collection and analysis solutions are coordinated, integrated and perform to the highest standards and expectations for both internal and external customers in order to drive measurable results

  • Comprehensive, clean, and complete data sets in production that are housed in a data warehouse and are easily accessible
  • Creation and improvement of efficient processes to allow for an ongoing feedback loop of IP with evolving datasets and products into the data warehouse
  • Consistent report formatting and functionality that increases frequency of delivery to internal stakeholders in order to provide first-to-market insights for clients
  • Written and oral presentations of strategic direction of the company’s data platform, roadmaps, and resource allocation/needs

Equity Fundamentals Analyst

As a member of our Fundamentals Research team, work on combining fundamental energy market supply and demand data with granular company level financial asset to value a company from the ground up. You will have the responsibility for analysis, design and the implementation of East Daley’s company specific models. To be successful you will need the ability to recognize trends and put puzzles together that are relevant to understanding the value of a publicly traded company and their assets than anyone else in the world.

Responsibilities:

-Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative discipline: Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent two years’ experience in a Financial Analyst discipline: M&A, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Risk Management Midstream, Upstream or Trading Analysis
